The paper discusses new results of our research cycle in the field of language embodiment of the value picture of the world in the discursive practices of modern Russian native speakers. The object of the study is the cultural concept of "Russian world". The purpose of the study is to find out, based on the corpus analysis data, what cognitive features are inherent in this cultural concept in the array of real uses of the phrase "Russian world", which allows us to objectify intuitive ideas about its conceptual content and semantic volume. The material of the study is the contexts of use of the collocation "Russian world", extracted by the method of continuous sampling from newspaper corpora in the Russian National Corpus. The volume of the research material was 2,107 occurrences of the collocation "Russian world" in the corpus of 1,212 texts. The research procedure includes a continuous sample of contexts of use of the collocation "Russian world", distribution of the material by semantic groups, subsequent substantive interpretation of the identified cognitive features of this cultural concept, as well as a quantitative analysis of the frequency of occurrence of collocation to model the field structure of its conceptual content. In the course of the analysis of the corpus material, one cognitive feature was identified based on the use of collocation as a proper name of public organizations, political movements, cultural associations, educational institutions, companies, events and nine cognitive features of a common noun nature, distributed among two substantive clusters. The socio-territorial cluster includes such cognitive features as ʽinterstate national association of people based on ethnic affiliation with Russiansʼ, ʽinterethnic association of people belonging to different nationsʼ and ʽnational and territorial association of Russian people in Russiaʼ. The ideological cluster includes such cognitive features as the ʽproper ideological, geopolitical conceptʼ, ʽset of worldview attitudes and ideasʼ, ʽRussian spirit, Russian national character, Russian traditions and customsʼ, ʽspecial system of valuesʼ, ʽset of moral ideasʼ and ʽRussian cultureʼ. Further, by means of quantitative analysis, the field structure of the cultural concept is modeled: the core of conceptual content, the basic layer, the near and far periphery is identified. It is concluded that the collocation "Russian world" in its functioning in media discourse has all the features of an ideologeme, revealing such reflexes as vagueness of semantic volume and non-referentiality of use, displacement of denotative content by value content, acquisition of strong expressiveness, imagery, evaluativeness, axiological polarization, etc.
