Village is a frontliner governmentality system in Indonesia. Historically the Villages are regulated by central government derivatively, until the era of democratization. The central government reform and recall the function of Villages into the origins, namely subsidiarity and recognition. Therefore, The villages could calibrated by newest regulation or recalibrated by models that they assumed best practices based on their own experiences. To proof these calibrations or recalibrations process, this research use two research approaches, post-positivism and constructivism in tree villages that were conducted purposively, Panggungharjo, Kutuh, and Waturaka. Meanwhile, the analysis that will be used is grounded analysis. The conclusion of this researches are; firstly, The Villages are playing on to calibrate the governmentality to the reform of regulation that made by central government. Secondly, based on the practices, recalibration are tend to leadership and cultural based. In Panggungharjo, the head of villager show how leader moved the community to be productive supported by traditional culture. In Kutuh, Tri Hita Karana principle with customary authority is politically recognized and has legitimacy. In Waturaka Village has a strong customary tradition and led by Mosalaki. Thirdly, continuous governance recalibration affect to independences of fund and develop the local economy.
