Gray leaf spot ( Cercospora zeae-maydis) and northern corn leaf blight ( Exserohilum turcicum) are two important foliar diseases of fresh market sweet corn. On leaves running parallel to the leaf, vein gray leaf spot causes tan to gray rectangular-shaped lesions, and northern corn leaf blight causes cigar-shaped lesions. This report evaluates the efficacy of one or two applications of Revylok to a grower standard (two applications of either Veltyma or Priaxor) for the management of foliar diseases affecting sweet corn. The trial was conducted in Painter, VA, in 2024 on Zea mays ‘Revision’. Results from this trial will help advise fresh market sweet corn growers on the management of gray leaf spot and northern corn leaf blight.
