This article aims to analyse the integration of the fundamentals and objectives of Islamic education derived from the Qur'an and Hadith with philosophical, formal legal, psychological, sociological, and axiological foundations in the context of Indonesia's national education system. This study uses a qualitative approach through library research by analysing various relevant primary and secondary sources, including religious texts, Islamic education literature, and national education regulations. The results of the study show that Islamic education has a strong normative and philosophical foundation and is in line with the objectives of national education as mandated by law. The integration of these five foundations strengthens the position of Islamic education as a holistic, comprehensive education system oriented towards the formation of perfect human beings who are faithful, knowledgeable, have noble character, and are able to respond to the dynamics of globalisation and developments in the digital era. These findings emphasise the importance of strengthening the conceptual integration of Islamic education in the formulation of education policy and practice in Indonesia.
