In modern conditions of high mobility of environmental factors and increased sanctions pressure on the national economy, the fishing industry, among others, is faced with the need to quickly adapt to a reduction in export revenues and an increase in the financial burden on enterprises, as well as the execution and implementation of investment projects that have already been launched. One of the key factors in ensuring the implementation of the above is the digital transformation of the industry, which in turn is also complicated by the negative impact of the external economic environment, as well as the high capital intensity of modernization, resistance from staff, etc. The concept of digital transformation of the Russian Federation Industry 5.0 assumes the elimination of the main problems of the modern fisheries complex in providing the population with high-quality products (creating optimal storage conditions for fish products along the entire route to the end consumer, including by accelerating supplies); reducing exports of raw materials; improving the quality of interaction between the subjects of the complex and the state by creating conditions to form a system of cooperation between them. The possibility of solving these problems through the application of a business model for the development of the fisheries complex based on a digital network production and consumer system (the model of A. Ya. Yafasov) is indicated. It was noted that the integration of fish marketplaces, which have significant potential in the context of the growth of the digital economy and the growing demand for high-quality products, can help improve the quality of interaction between all participants in this system. The introduction of an ecosystem-based digital platform that integrates marketplaces, communication environments, and logistics services can eliminate these imbalances. The implementation of the proposed directions requires significant financial resources, which ultimately increases the cost of the final product, but the effectiveness of these innovations is the basis for ensuring the competitiveness of products of domestic fisheries enterprises in the global market in the long term.
