This presentation, delivered at the FAIR Workshop of the Climatematch Impact Scholars Program (https://neuromatch.io/impact-scholars/), is designed to guide researchers on a journey toward understanding and applying the FAIR Principles—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable—within the context of climate data management and stewardship. It also showcases examples of climate data portals that offer free and open access to high-quality climate data and information, and highlights community tools available for assessing the level of FAIR compliance (FAIRness) of datasets.
