This work presents a foundational energy-based framework called SAN Energy Science, which proposes that energy is the ultimate reality, matter is a condensed form of energy, and time is not fundamental but an effect of energy–matter interaction. Using a deep Question–Answer (Q&A) structure, this paper re-examines key concepts of modern physics and cosmology, including time, light, redshift, gravity, vacuum, black holes, life, and consciousness. Observations from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) and cosmological redshift are interpreted not as direct measurements of time, but as measurements of energy transformation, from which time is mathematically inferred. The framework argues that many contradictions in modern cosmology arise from treating time as fundamental rather than emergent. By starting from energy as the origin, SAN Energy Science provides a unified, self-consistent explanation of physical reality that avoids semantic and conceptual inconsistencies found in matter-based theories such as the Big Bang model. This preprint is published on Zenodo to establish a permanent, citable record of an origin-level alternative framework for understanding the universe, independent of journal gatekeeping. The future scientific community may evaluate its validity based on evidence, logic, and consistency.
