Teachers are required to record attendance daily and enter studentmarks across multiple systems, which increasesworkload and the likelihood of mistakes. Thistraditional approach also makes it difficult togenerate accurate reports or track studentperformance efficiently.The AI-Integrated Automation Portal forAttendance and Marks Entry addresses thesechallenges by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI)and Optical Character Recognition (OCR)technologies. The system automates attendancemarking using facial recognition, allowing teachersto capture classroom attendance in real-time withoutmanual intervention. Simultaneously, the systemextracts student marks from handwritten sheetsusing OCR, directly updating the database andgenerating digital records. This dual automationreduces human effort, minimizes errors, andsignificantly improves administrative efficiency.In addition to automating routine tasks, the systemenhances transparency and accountability withinacademic institutions. Students can view theirattendance records in real-time, while teachers cangenerate reports instantly without manualcalculations.
