AbstractContemporary theoretical physics has achieved remarkable predictive success whilesimultaneously facing deep foundational fragmentation. Attempts to resolve thistension have often relied on the introduction of additional entities, dimensions, or adhoc mechanisms. In contrast, the present work introduces The Theory of Nothing as afoundational ontological framework from which physical models emerge as regime-dependentstructural realizations. Rather than proposing new fundamental objects or laws, theframework begins with an ontological limit—the Nothing—and reconstructs physicalreality as a continuous process of structural differentiation governed by collapse dynamics. This article provides a conceptual overview of the Theory of Nothing and clarifies itsrole as the foundational basis for a series of technical works previously published, including models of emergent time, scalar geometric structure, observable signatures, and regime classification within a universal collapse framework.
