This paper introduces the concept of the Knot as a structural threshold in irreversible decision-making. The Knot marks the point where optimization ceases to be possible and all options lead to loss, transforming the decision-making space. The paper presents three representations: the Decision Millefeuille, the Responsibility–Cost–Effect Triangle, and the Decision Wave, offering a new perspective on decision-making in systems with irreversible outcomes. This work provides a conceptual framework to identify the structural nature of decision thresholds.
