Original Contributions: An Operational Framework for Attention, Energy, and Consciousness

This preprint presents a set of original theoretical contributions underlying the Metabolic Framework of Attention and Consciousness. The work introduces:(1) an operational formalization of attention as an energetic process,(2) a transformation of symbolic temporal structures into an operational system architecture,(3) an energetic model of truth as structural stability under pressure, and(4) the integration of skepticism as an internal functional parameter of intelligence. Rather than proposing an ontological theory of consciousness, the paper defines a methodological and operational layer intended to support further theoretical development, critique, and application. This preprint serves as a foundational contribution-level reference for subsequent works within the Metabolic Weather and Metabolic Tzolkin research program. Relevant fields include cognitive science, philosophy of mind, systems theory, and theoretical modeling of consciousness.
