Abstract Analyzing the concept of philosophical generations will be examined in accordance with the definitions established by Yulia Sineokaya. The second objective of this paper depends on the specificity of the philosophical nature of generation in different environments in the context of comprehending philosophical workplaces (associations, philosophical journals) as specific philosophical schools and creative spaces. The Soviet period in the history of Russian philosophy is found to be significant because of its influence on philosophical thought abroad, especially on thought of countries such as Czechoslovakia, Poland, etc. Soviet influence, the influence of the legacy of Lenin was a change and challenge for generations of philosophers in these countries. This influence is for now a challenge in the current research of Russian philosophy in the twentieth century and also philosophical thought in the space of post-Soviet countries and countries under the direct influence of the USSR. One special task depends on a new reading of Lenin’s legacy.
