This systematic review aims to analyze the relationship between cyberbullying and its repercussions on the mental health of adolescents, examining the impact on both victims and aggressors. Following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, a comprehensive literature search was conducted in Scopus, EBSCO, PubMed, and Web of Science for experimental and cohort studies published between 2014 and 2024. The project focuses on identifying the prevalence of cyberbullying across different sociodemographic contexts and exploring its emotional and psychological consequences, including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and social isolation. Furthermore, the review investigates the psychosocial effects on aggressors, the role of bystanders in perpetuating or mitigating the phenomenon, and the effectiveness of prevention and intervention strategies involving educational institutions and families . The findings indicate a strong correlation between cybervictimization and mental health deterioration, highlighting the need for multidimensional interventions. This registration provides transparency regarding the synthesis methods and the scope of the evidence analyzed in the final manuscript.
