This paper analyses systemic procedural mechanisms through which elite UK universities continue to exclude disabled scholars despite the 2024 judicial ruling in Abrahart v University of Bristol. Using doctoral admissions correspondence from the University of St Andrews as an empirical case study, it documents how administrative gatekeeping overrides academic judgment, deploys temporal discrimination, and treats demonstrated capability as inadmissible when achieved outside conventional credentialing pathways. This paper forms part of a broader, ongoing multi institutional research programme examining post Abrahart institutional behaviour in UK higher education.
