This work proposes a philosophical paradigm and possible ontology for consciousness and awareness. It develops a unified conceptual framework by extending the Entropy‑Mediated Quantum Amplification (EMQA) theory into a full model integrated with a neurobiological network, EMQA‑NBN. EMQA proposes that conscious moments arise from the amplification of quantum‑geometric events within neuronal microtubules. EMQA‑NBN elaborates this into a specific biological control system: a self‑tuning regulatory loop that couples microtubular quantum sensitivity to classical neurophysiology through N‑methyl‑D‑aspartate receptor (NMDAR)‑mediated signaling, calcium‑dependent modulation, and ultrafast electric‑field interactions. This loop provides a candidate mechanistic substrate for sustaining and dynamically shaping the conscious field, and an interpretive lens for explaining its modulation and loss under anesthesia, metabolic disturbance, and neuropsychiatric conditions. A hypothetical Thermo‑Mechanical‑Amplification (TMA) cycle, where metabolic heat is amplified into regulated quantum activity, is proposed as one possible transducing mechanism. To clarify the phenomenological architecture, the taxonomy of experionoesis is introduced, formally integrating consciousness, awareness, subawareness, and intuition into a coherent hierarchy. Within this hierarchy, ancient brain structures (brainstem, cerebellum) are proposed to generate the foundational excitation current, while thalamocortical and large‑scale neocortical circuits transform this current into structured, reflective awareness. The framework further explores speculative extensions, including potential variability in microtubular quantum sensitivity in neurodevelopmental conditions and the possibility that the EMQA‑NBN interface supports forms of quantum‑influenced or non‑local computation underlying intuitive insight. By unifying quantum amplification, cytoskeletal dynamics, synaptic regulation, and systems‑level circuitry, the EMQA‑NBN framework offers a testable, multi‑scale ontology for bridging the emergence, modulation, and phenomenology of conscious experience.
