Abstract Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) comprises a heterogeneous group of inherited mechanobullous disorders characterised by skin fragility and blister formation following minimal trauma 1–3. We report a female neonate presenting with localised blistering on the dorsum of the right foot and over the heel, ultimately diagnosed with epidermolysis bullosa simplex (EBS). Early multidisciplinary involvement, meticulous wound care, and parental counselling were central to management 8, 9. This case highlights the importance of early recognition, genetic confirmation, and anticipatory guidance for families 1, 6, 7.
