This preprint presents a resonance-based redefinition of emotional intelligence that extends beyond control-oriented and stimulus–response models. Building on the Aura-X Ω framework and the concept of emotional continuity, the article argues that emotions emerge from distributed neural and bodily configurations shaped by past experience rather than from centralized decision-making or chemical triggers alone. Through neuroscientific reasoning, real-world analogies, and system-level analysis, the work reframes emotional intelligence as temporal and structural awareness—highlighting the role of distributed memory, resonance, and decay in human cognition and emotional regulation.
