Abstract:The Knower‑Centred Model of Consciousness(KCM) proposes an experience‑first ontology that places the Knower—pure, irreducible awareness—at the foundation of reality. Against matter‑first explanations in neuroscience, cognitive science, and physics, KCM reframes consciousness as ontologically primary, with phenomena emerging as appearances within awareness. The model structures reality through the K³ triad: Knower (K1), Knowing (K2), and Known (K3), integrating insights from phenomenology, Advaita Vedanta, and observer‑centric interpretations in quantum physics. This document outlines the conceptual basis of KCM, its philosophical rationale, and its implications for interdisciplinary research into consciousness. Note:This Zenodo deposit corresponds to the original OSF release of the KCM framework. Content is identical.
