Global supply chains are increasingly operating within a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) environment, rendering traditional static risk management models obsolete. This paper explores the application of Digital Twin technology as a transformative tool for enhancing supply chain resilience. A Digital Twin, a virtual replica of a physical system utilizes real-time data and simulation to predict performance and optimize outcomes. Through a conceptual analysis, this study examines the architecture of Digital Twins, their role in predictive scenario planning, and their capacity to facilitate real-time decision-making. The findings suggest that the integration of Digital Twins enables organizations to shift from reactive crisis management to proactive risk mitigation. However, the study also identifies significant barriers to implementation, including data interoperability and cybersecurity risks.
