Description: Evidence Synthesis studies such as Systematic Reviews, Meta-Analyses, Evidence Gap Maps, Scoping Reviews, Rapid Reviews, etc. are increasing in the sciences at the same time that adherence to good study design methodology is becoming more important. Library support is critical in supporting the development of a methodologically sound evidence synthesis study. This two-part workshop will include presentations and activities for participants focused on reviews and methodologies in marine and aquatic sciences. We will touch on study design and research questions, conduct guidelines and reporting standards in the environmental sciences, and the steps of the process that most involve librarian and library support. Presented at the annual conference of the International Association of Aquatic and Marine Science Libraries and Information Centres.
