This paper develops the concept of Retentive Shadowing, a topological mechanism through which pre-structural differences (Δψ) preserve residual traces of earlier configurations without relying on physical storage or chronological time. The study formalizes the retentive shadow Sψ as the deviation from the equilibrium floor Δψ₀, derived from the ψ-Lagrangian and stabilized by Ξ-nodes. It presents shadow persistence as a universal structural phenomenon that extends across cosmological, topological, and early cognitive regimes. The framework positions retentive shadows as foundational elements of ψ⁸-based retention physics beyond time.
