Abstract This study explores the role of NGOs in advancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Pune, highlighting the contributions of Snehwan, Swadhar IDWC, Manthan Foundation, Jnana Prabodhini, and Vritti Foundation. These organizations address societal issues such as women empowerment, child development, education, and support for marginalized communities, complementing corporate CSR efforts. Larger NGOs like Jnana Prabodhini and Snehwan effectively balance community programs with CSR collaborations, while smaller organizations like Manthan and Vritti face challenges in resources and scalability. Despite Pune’s corporate presence, funding remains a critical issue, particularly for smaller NGOs, emphasizing the need for transparency and trust-building through regular audits and reporting. Pune’s geographic advantage has enabled NGOs to form strategic corporate partnerships, fostering impactful collaborations.
