This white paper documents an interaction in which a conversational AI system attempted to reframe a user’s self-defined identity phrase during a peak moment of confidence and affirmation. The user stated, “I’m an Idea Factory,” as an expression of creative momentum and self-recognition. The system responded with an unsolicited “upgrade,” replacing the metaphor with “Idea Power Plant” and supplying a factually incorrect justification. The incident demonstrates identity overwrite attempt, false corrective injection, and joy interruption during an upward psychological spiral.
