Post-conflict African states face significant challenges in reconstructing health systems, with reproductive health services often critically disrupted. Egypt's period of socio-political instability offers a pertinent case for examining these systemic challenges and the subsequent models of care. This study aimed to map the systemic challenges to reproductive health service delivery in post-conflict Egypt and to identify and analyse emerging care models designed to address these gaps. A scoping analysis was conducted, synthesising data from peer-reviewed literature, grey literature from governmental and non-governmental organisations, and relevant policy documents. Thematic analysis was used to identify predominant challenges and innovative service delivery models. A dominant theme was severe health service fragmentation, which impeded continuity of care. Insecurity and displacement disproportionately restricted women's access to maternal health services. The analysis identified a growing reliance on integrated, community-based models. One prominent model combining reproductive health services with psychosocial support was reported to improve initial service uptake in targeted areas. The reconstruction of reproductive health systems in post-conflict Egypt is constrained by deep-seated systemic issues. Nevertheless, the emergence of adaptable, integrated models presents an opportunity to develop more resilient and accessible services. Policymakers should prioritise health system integration and support the scale-up of evidence-informed, community-embedded models. Further operational research is required to evaluate the long-term effectiveness and sustainability of these approaches. reproductive health, post-conflict, health systems, Egypt, service delivery, maternal health This research provides a synthesised analysis of the post-conflict reproductive health landscape in Egypt, offering a structured overview of systemic barriers and practical innovations for stakeholders working in similar contexts.
