Chronosphere and the Cosmological Constant

I propose a geometric origin of the cosmological constant Λ based on the incommensurability of the sphere and its boundary, expressed in the irrationality of the number π. Interpreting the universe as a Chronosphere, a three-dimensional sphere whose boundary represents the active ontological principle of “Nothingness, ” I show that the tension between the actual radius R and its ideal boundary S = 4πR2 creates the vacuum energy density ρ_Λ ≈ H2. Self-consistency at the de Sitter stage uniquely determines the coefficient of proportionality as 3/ (π‑3), which gives Λ ≈ 3×10-121 in Planck units, which is in striking agreement with observations without any free parameters. The model predicts a slow, gradual decrease in Λ and a finite lifetime for the current accelerated epoch. No anthropic principle, landscape, or multiverse is required.
