Two sediment samples were submitted for pollen analysis from site 28-Mo-469, which is located in Neptune Township (Monmouth County), New Jersey. It is located in the outer coastal plain portion of New Jersey. The site includes two discontinuous areas, designated Locus 3 and Locus 4. Most of the cultural deposits and recovered historic artifacts were contained in locus 4. Pollen analysis may contribute to answering only 1 of the research questions. Pollen analysis and is expected to contribute to understanding on-site activities, especially related to medicinal plants or planting areas.
