Seventh-Day Adventist theology, doctrine, and biblical scripture. It addresses common denominational and biblical beliefs about, but is not limited to, the Trinity, infallible Holy Scriptures, and roles of Divine Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Central to the beliefs is the doctrine of Creation as an act over six days culminating in the Sabbath, the Great Controversy between the forces of Christ and Satan, and humanity as each of both beings who have fallen and are redeemable through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The article highlights important distinctive SDA teachings, for instance, the investigative judgment, Christ’s ministry in the heavenly sanctuary, and Ellen G. White’s role as a prophet. The Second Coming of Christ, the Millennium, and the hope of a New Earth free of sin are at the center of SDA eschatology. The fundamental beliefs pertaining to salvation, stewardship, Christian conduct, and the mission of the remnant church bring to the forefront the importance of a life of faith, conformity, and preparation for the return of Christ. This article illustrated the commitment of the SDA to not only follow biblical authority but also live through it by addressing spiritual growth, community, and global evangelism.
