We propose the Quantum Consciousness Alignment Theory (QCAT) as a speculative framework for understanding the emergence of physical reality through the interaction of past-directed and future-directed quantum waves. Building on the Transactional Interpretation (TI) of quantum mechanics, QCAT extends TI by introducing consciousness as an active participant in the selection of the wave function. We model the interaction of offer waves (probability waves propagating from the past) and confirmation waves (observer-linked waves propagating from the future) within an information-based setting inspired by Wheeler’s It from Bit hypothesis. The transition from virtual to actualized states is described using rotational alignment of wave interactions and virtual photon amplification, culminating in a standing-wave condition for reality emergence. We present a phenomenological mathematical formalism to capture these relationships and outline conceptual and experimental implications.
