Introduction: Obesity, an increasingly prevalent global health issue, necessitates sustainable and comprehensive treatment strategies. This study examines the combined effects of Shunthi Haritaki Choorna, a traditional Ayurvedic formulation and Kapalbhati, a yogic breathing technique, in the management of obesity. Materials and method: This is a randomized controlled parallel group clinical trial. The present study was conducted on. 40 randomly chosen obese patients were divided into two group. The trial lasted for 45 days in total. Shunthi-Haritaki Choorna and 3 rounds of Kapalbhati were administered to Group-A in the morning. Group B served as a placebo control group and was given capsules of roasted semolina in B.D. after meals. Results: Group A(Control) showed significant improvement in both subjective and objective parameters of obesity. In contrast, Group B (placebo) showed minimal or no improvement. Conclusion: Shunthi-Haritaki Choorna and Kapalbhati treatment showed improvement in subjective and objective parameters, this was effective in obesity.
