This study explores the relevance, thematic integration, challenges and roadmap for embedding IKS in school education. By analysing Matic, philosophical and ethical teachings, arts and environmental ethics, the research demonstrates the wellness practices (Ayurveda, Yoga), scientific and mathematical contributions (Aryabhata Vela Seners holistic development, cultural rootedness and global competence among students. The study further lies thematic areas for integration of science, mathematics, environmental studies, physical education gauge and arts-while examining barriers such as teacher preparedness and resource limitations, alongside Alors like policy support, digital platforms and international recognition of IKS. A forward-looking roadmap a proposed highlighting curriculum reform, teacher training, experiential pedagogy, digital dissemination and balanced collaboration. The findings suggest that thoughtful integration of IKS can foster innovation, critical ethical consciousness and socio-cultural awareness, thereby bridging traditional wisdom with modern caution and positioning IKS as a vital instrument for nurturing informed, responsible and globally competent in advancing India toward its vision of a knowledge-driven, self-reliant, and culturally enriched India.
