This article systematically examines the psychological characteristics of university students. The authors conducted an in-depth analysis of the cognitive, emotional and motivational components that influence the learning process, which led to research related to the psychological adaptation of students. The article presents the results of a new study on the impact of emotional stability and emotional intelligence on learning ability and psychological harmony, as well as the relationship between positive psychological qualities and academic burnout. Research shows that emotional intelligence and positive psychological qualities enhance students' academic performance and enhance their emotional stability. This research provides a theoretical and practical basis for the development of strategic recommendations for improving the psychological status of students in higher education policy.
