ABSTRACT The advent of e‐recruitment, a process made possible by internet platforms and technologies, has completely changed the talent acquisition (TA) landscape in the digital age. This study explores e‐recruitment, using secondary data to thoroughly examine the methods and patterns influencing this ever‐evolving industry. The impact of technology adoption on TA in e‐recruitment is the main topic of this study. Seven hundred twenty‐four Indian recruiters and professionals provided data, and the structural equation modeling method was applied to assess the hypothesis that was suggested. The outcomes of the research indicate that influence from society, performance expectations, and privacy and security issues all have a big influence on hiring new employees. Furthermore, the findings show that a favorable correlation between perceived value and TA is weakened by human resource (HR) readiness. The findings suggest that to ensure the seamless adoption and deployment of e‐recruitment, HR departments should receive sufficient training in using digital recruitment technologies. Platform adoption may also be increased by highlighting social influence through online evaluations or testimonials.
