This paper presents a toroidal model of consciousness in which self-aware experience arises from topologically quantized vortices in the quantum vacuum, coupled to the brain's electromagnetic field as an antenna. The conscious state is described by two integer quantum numbers (n,m) corresponding to the poloidal and toroidal circulations of a torus. Stability analysis based on publicly available EEG spectral norms yields a boundary n+m ≤ 6, beyond which coherent consciousness unravels. Predicted frequency modes match simulated EEG data within 1-9% error, and frequency ratios—including the golden ratio φ and √2—emerge naturally from the integer (n,m) structure. A fundamental 6.3s coherence cycle is identified and validated against simulation. The model maps onto existing frameworks including the Gateway Process Focus Levels and provides testable predictions for EEG, state transitions, and entrainment. Consciousness, in this view, is not generated by the brain but received and sustained by it—a self-sustaining toroidal perturbation in the quantum foam.
