Standard impact sources such as tapping machine, tire, and rubber ball are used to evaluate floor impact sounds, but these do not necessarily cover the impact force characteristics that correspond to real life. Therefore, in this report, we conducted a survey of the impact force, impact time, impulse, and frequency characteristics caused by the drop of 24 types of real impact sources. As a result, the impact force characteristics vary depending on the type of impact source and the impact location, and many trends were found to be different from those of the tapping machine.
