Mobile medical examination apps have shown promise in improving access to healthcare services in rural areas. However, their adoption and impact on patients remain underexplored. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including surveys (N=120) and qualitative interviews (n=15). Data were analysed using descriptive statistics to measure adoption rates and inferential statistics for benefits assessment. Mobile app usage increased by 45% among participants compared to baseline, with a significant improvement in symptom management reported (p<0.05). The mobile app demonstrated high user engagement and benefits in enhancing healthcare access for rural Senegalese patients.
