Digital health tools are becoming essential for evaluating and supporting the mental well-being of individuals with cancer. Here, we analyze advanced developments in eHealth solutions, including mobile applications and wearables, for psychological support in oncology settings. Our findings indicate that these digital approaches positively impact emotional health, life quality, and patient empowerment, while addressing limitations of conventional support systems. Nevertheless, issues related to engagement, privacy protection, and interoperability remain. We discuss future directions focusing on expanded clinical trials, contextual customization, and leveraging AI and VR for tailored therapeutic strategies. The aim is to promote consistent implementation of digital mental health care in psycho-oncology, providing an evidence-based framework for practitioners and investigators.
