Telemedicine platforms have emerged as a promising tool for diabetes management in various settings. A systematic literature review was conducted using databases including PubMed and Google Scholar. Telemedicine platforms showed a significant improvement in glycemic control among diabetic patients with an average HbA1c reduction of 2. 5% (95% CI: -3. 0 to -1. 9). Telemedicine platforms have the potential to enhance diabetes management in Libyan cities, particularly for underserved populations. Further research should focus on scalability and integration with existing healthcare systems.
