Nairobi in Kenya is a hub for microfinance programmes aimed at supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative interviews with quantitative data analysis of programme participants' financial records. Microfinance programmes significantly improved the creditworthiness scores of participants by an average of 20% compared to a baseline measure. The findings underscore the positive impact of microfinance interventions on both entrepreneurial success and financial health in Nairobi. Policy makers should consider scaling up successful microfinance programmes and integrating them into broader economic development strategies.
