Historical Foundations of Governance Evolution in Ethiopian Context Qualitative analysis of archival documents, oral histories, and secondary data to trace the evolution of governance structures from colonial times to present-day Ethiopia. The study reveals a significant impact of feudal systems on modern Ethiopian governance, particularly in rural areas where traditional leadership patterns persist. The integration of historical governance practices into contemporary policy frameworks can mitigate current administrative inefficiencies and improve service delivery. Policy makers should incorporate insights from historical governance models to enhance community engagement and accountability mechanisms.
