District hospitals in Ghana are pivotal to healthcare delivery but face challenges in adopting modern methods. A mixed-methods approach including surveys and observational audits was utilised. Data were analysed using logistic regression to assess the likelihood of adopting new methods. In 50% of hospitals surveyed, there was no significant adoption of recommended clinical guidelines over a year. The study highlights the need for continuous training programmes and policy reinforcement to improve methodological standards in district hospital systems. Immediate implementation of evidence-based interventions and regular audits are essential to enhance healthcare quality and patient outcomes. Ghana, District Hospitals, Methodology Adoption, Quasi-Experimental Design Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
