District hospitals in Uganda play a crucial role in healthcare delivery, yet their effectiveness is often underpinned by methodological challenges. The study utilised mixed-methods including logistic regression models to analyse data from multiple hospitals across Uganda. A stratified sample of 50 hospitals revealed a significant improvement in patient recovery rates (OR = 1. 23, CI: 95%) compared to baseline conditions. The quasi-experimental designs effectively captured clinical outcomes, providing robust evidence for system improvements. District hospital managers should prioritise training and resource allocation based on the findings. quasi-experimental design, district hospitals, Uganda, clinical outcome measurement
