This study examines the competition law frameworks in East African Community (EAC) countries with a focus on Senegal. A theoretical approach will be employed to analyse the legal texts and regulations in place within Senegal and other EAC countries. This involves reviewing existing literature and conducting a structured review of relevant statutes and case law. This study highlights the need for harmonization efforts to streamline competition laws within the EAC, particularly focusing on enhancing legal consistency and improving regulatory effectiveness. Recommendations include advocating for regional cooperation initiatives aimed at developing uniform competition law frameworks across the EAC, with a specific focus on Senegal's legal landscape.
