This resource, developed by the Institutions Stakeholder Action Group of the Australian National Persistent Identifier (PID) Strategy, helps research organisations assess their existing PID maturity and define a systemic target state to achieve optimal benefits. It is complemented by two other resources, the PID Value Proposition Resource which outlines a number of value proposition scenarios for institutions, and the PIDs Implementation Guide which includes “recipes” that collate advice and recommendations for implementation areas.
