Emergency care units in Uganda face significant challenges due to resource constraints and inadequate infrastructure. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including quantitative data analysis using logistic regression models and qualitative interviews for in-depth understanding. Data were collected from six hospitals across Uganda. The proportion of patients receiving timely interventions varied significantly between the studied units (p < 0. 05). Logistic regression identified several predictors of clinical outcomes. The quasi-experimental design provided robust evidence to improve emergency care systems in Uganda. Immediate investment is required in training healthcare professionals and upgrading infrastructure to enhance patient survival rates.
