The Sahel region of Central Africa is facing significant climate variability and change, which has profound implications for human security. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative data analysis will be employed to explore these issues. Climate-induced drought has led to a notable increase (30%) in food insecurity among pastoral communities, highlighting vulnerabilities exacerbated by changing precipitation patterns. The Sahel's human security landscape is increasingly threatened by climate change, necessitating targeted interventions and policy reforms.
