Community health centres (CHCs) play a crucial role in Rwanda's healthcare system, aiming to provide comprehensive and equitable access to primary care services. A systematic literature review was conducted using databases including PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Scopus. Studies were selected based on predefined inclusion criteria related to quasi-experimental designs applied to CHCs in Rwanda. The analysis revealed a significant variation in the methodological approaches used across studies, with some employing regression discontinuity design (RDD) for measuring cost-effectiveness. While there is variability in study methodologies, the use of RDD showed promising results in estimating cost-effectiveness ratios more accurately than traditional methods. Future research should standardise methodological approaches and include robust statistical models to enhance reliability and comparability of findings. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
