Urbanization in Moroccan cities has led to rapid growth of informal settlements, characterized by inadequate infrastructure and social services. Theoretical synthesis will be employed, drawing on existing literature on urbanization, social welfare systems, and informal settlement management. The theoretical framework elucidates the complex dynamics between urban development, informal settlement formation, and social welfare provision, highlighting critical areas for policy intervention. Policy recommendations include enhancing collaboration between local governments, non-governmental organizations, and community leaders to improve access to essential services in informal settlements.
