This study examines the long-term social impacts of a youth empowerment programme aimed at enhancing climate change adaptation in Darfur, Sudan, through a case study in Niger. A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews was employed. Data from and subsequent years were analysed using logistic regression to assess the programme's impact on employment rates (OR=1. 56, CI: 1. 24-1. 97). A significant increase in youth participation in climate-related activities was observed over the study period (p<0. 05), indicating enhanced community engagement and adaptive capacity. The longitudinal analysis supports the hypothesis that the programme has positively influenced socio-economic stability and resilience, particularly among vulnerable communities. Future research should focus on replicating this model in diverse contexts to validate its effectiveness across different regions and cultures. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
