Community health centres in Nigeria play a crucial role in providing healthcare services to underserved populations. However, their effectiveness and efficiency have not been systematically evaluated. A systematic literature review was employed to identify studies that used panel data methods for evaluating the performance of Nigerian community health centres. Studies were selected based on relevance and empirical rigor, with focus on clinical outcomes such as patient recovery rates and treatment efficacy. The analysis revealed a significant variation in clinical outcomes across different community health centres, with some achieving recovery rates up to 50% higher than others. This study provides insights into the variability of performance among Nigerian community health centres, highlighting critical areas for improvement and best practices. Future research should focus on implementing standardised protocols and training programmes to enhance clinical outcomes in all health centres.
