Ghana is experiencing a growing demand for off-grid energy solutions to meet household needs, particularly in rural areas where access to grid electricity is limited. The study employs a fixed effects regression model to analyse time-series data collected from 15 off-grid communities over three years, accounting for spatial and temporal variations. A significant proportion (32%) of the variation in system yield can be attributed to differences across communities rather than year-to-year changes, highlighting the importance of community-specific factors in performance. The fixed effects model provides robust estimates that control for unobserved heterogeneity and temporal trends, offering insights into yield variability among off-grid systems in Ghana.
